Building on the success of NYU's existing graduate programs in public health, the GIPH is launching ten new innovative undergraduate majors in global public health starting in Fall 2013. Each of the majors in the highly selective, rigorous undergraduate program combines study of global public health with another discipline at NYU. This unique bidisciplinary structure responds to the ever-increasing demand for interdisciplinary public health practitioners both in the US and abroad. The coursework is combined with experiential learning and study abroad requirements to ensure that students are uniquely prepared for a variety of careers.
